We are DVCC. We are the Thunder. We are the Desert Vista Thunder Girls Cross Country program of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona.
Desert Vista High School was established in 1996. It is located in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of Phoenix
and is a part of the Tempe Union High School District. It is a member of the
Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) and has always competed at the highest
level of the AIA classification system for Arizona High School sports.
The Desert Vista Thunder Girls Cross Country program has been providing quality long distance training since 1996.
It is our mission each year to produce individuals who not only compete well on the athletic field, but also establish
themselves as stellar students and human beings.
The athletic and academic achievements of these athletes are numerous; it is a direct result of their dedication and
discipline to the sport and their studies.
The coaches, staff, parents, and families of the Desert Vista Cross Country community could not be more proud of our Thunder Runners!
