Lydia Leeman led the charge for the freshman/sophomore girls, securing 1st place with a time of 23:00.2. Her remarkable performance set the tone for the team's success, with several other Desert Vista athletes securing top positions in the race. Sophomores Abby Fedyski and Bathany Yaso placed 4th (23:46) and 5th (23:58), and scoring was completed by a pair of Freshman, Baily Strauss in 6th (24:50) and Alexis Calcote in 8th (25:06) In the team standings, Desert Vista's freshman/sophomore girls earned 1st place, showcasing their strength and unity.
Brooklyn Hanania delivered an electrifying performance in the varsity girls race, securing 1st place with a stellar time of 18:41.2. Teagan Kelly in 2nd (21:42), Vanessa Acedo in 4th (22:24), and Emerson Rhodes in 5th (23:00), and Ali Collins in 9th (23:47) also posted strong finishes, highlighting the team's well-rounded talent. In the team standings, Desert Vista's varsity girls emerged as the champions, solidifying their position as a dominant force in Arizona cross country.
