Web Master - DVCC (Sep, 17 2024)
On Saturday, September 14th, the Thunder Boys made the short trip to Fountain Hills, AZ to compete in the Fountain Hills Invitational, held at Fountain Hills Park.
The DVCC Varsity squad raced to a 6th-place finish in the Large Schools 5k Varsity Race, led by sophomore Luke Littlefield in 23rd (16:56). Fellow soph Jacob Luecker was next in 27th (17:01), followed by junior Niko Maldonado in 46th (17:26), and freshman Carter Frisk in 50th (17:39). Junior Alexander Braaten finished 69th (18:00) to complete the scoring for the Thunder.
